Role Overview

As an Interpreter, you will play a crucial role in facilitating communication between clients and stakeholders in Ukrainian and English. This involves providing precise interpretation in specialized fields, where clarity and accuracy are paramount.

Project: a leading provider of interpretation and translation services globally, specializing in technical fields such as Insurance, Legal, and Medicine (General and Forensic). We are currently expanding our team to serve the Ukrainian market, ensuring accurate communication and understanding across critical sectors.

Contract Details

• Contract Type: Temporary, renewable
• Initial Duration: 12 months
• Subsequent Extension: Additional 12 months
• Permanent Contract: Possible after 2 years
• Benefits: Private health insurance upon contract signing, in addition to standard insurance

Training

We prioritize the professional development of our employees through comprehensive training:

• Duration: 3 weeks
• Language: Conducted in English
• Hours: 8 hours per day, starting between 08:30h and 09:30h
• Content: Includes integration into the Portugal team, software training, product and service knowledge, customer management (phone, email, chat), and on-the-job training

Successful completion of training leads to a formal employment contract. Compensation during training is provided at 92.8 EUR per week.

Compensation and Benefits

• Salary Options (monthly gross):
• • 1,227.32 EUR, including Christmas and Holiday bonuses, plus food allowance
  • 1,040.66 EUR, including room allowance, Christmas and Holiday bonuses, plus food allowance
• Additional Benefits: Private health insurance, meal card, holiday bonuses, 22 days of annual leave

Working Conditions

• Hours: 40 hours per week (8 hours per day with an additional lunch break)
• Shifts: Rotational shift pattern, 24/7 coverage
• Location: Remote position based in Portugal
• Holidays: 22 days per year, aligned with Portuguese public holidays

• Fluency in Ukrainian and English (spoken and written)
• Proven experience in interpretation, preferably in technical fields (Insurance, Legal, Medicine)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to adapt to a rotational shift schedule
• Commitment to professional development and continuous learning
